Classification of computer: Software and Hardware of computer:

 Classification of Computer:

  1. Micro Computer.
  2. Mini Computer.
  3. Main frame Computer.
  4. Super Computer.

Micro Computer:

  • The micro computer is a general purpose and which is called personal computer(PC).
  • This is smaller than mini computer,mainframe computer and super computer.
  • It is used in general purpose.
  • It is used microprocessor, CPU for manipulating data.









EXAMPLE:

 IBM PC , Macintosh, sony VAIO. etc

Notebook , Tablet Smartphone Laptop.Desktop Computer.

Mini Computer:

  • It cheap than mainframe computer.
  • it has storage capacity less than micro  computer.
  • The mini computer is smaller than mainframe and large than micro computers.












Example: 

Wang Laboratories, prime computer Apollo computer,Data General,

Mainframe Computer:

  • Ae we know that mainframe computers are very large power and is used general purpose computers.
  • They are used where large amount of data are to be processed
  •  It,s memory capacity in megabytes(MB) and storage capacity is in terabytes(TB)















 Example:
IBM 4300 series, IBM eNTERPRISE , SYSTEM/9000 SERIES

Super Computer:

  • A supercomputers have big storage spaces for processing to the point or particle speed of calculation.
  • It has number of VCPUs to make more speed.
  •  It has compatibility to doing every  things.










Example: 

Cray Jaguar, Cray Titan, IBM Sequoia,etc

Hardware of computer:

The hardware is a computer part which define like that 

A Hardware  is a physical touch and also smell but software either touch nor smell and some example of hardware below:

Example:

CPU,  Display, speaker, Motherboard, central processing unit, random access memory, , monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard disk drive printer, , joystick.

Uses of hardware:

Here are 5 main uses of hardware which are Input,output,processing,storage,Communication.

Software of computer:

The software is also part of computer which is used for set of instruction data pogramand most important to operate computer and must as for specific task.and soft do not touch just see by our eye and use as a run for program to getting advantages from it.

3 types of computer software:

(A) System software:

System software is a type of computer which designed like that to between hardware and application software to run them to done it.

(B) Application software:

An application special designed for carry out of a specific task  othe than which related to computer itself.

Example of application software: 

AutoCAD.CorelDraw,Google Chrome,MS Office,PowerPoint, Outlook,Excel,Word,Canva,Adobe Photoshop,CorelDraw,Firefox,

(C) Utility software :

The  Utility software is a computer types  software  and that the user effective management of computer system.

Types of Utility software:

(a) Fie manager:

File manager is used to manage and view file in a computer all operating system provide file viewers.

For example:

  • Windows explorer.
  • Organizing files.
  • Creating shortcuts.
  • Copying,Renaming,Deleting,,Moving.

(b) Image Viewer:

An image viewer is used to display,copy,And print the contents of a graphics files.Most operating system include an image viewer.

For example:

Win 10 include image viewer as the name of photo.

(c) Antivirus:

A types of software that is uses to detect and remove viruses is called antivirus software.Antivirus software contain information about different know  virus. The can detect virus And virus and remove them.Unnecessary files may include:Temporary internet files:deleted files.unused program files, cache data.

(e) Disk Scanner:

Disk scanner is used to detect logical and problems of disk.All operating system provide disk scanner to manage computer disk.

For example: Disk scanner

(f) File compressor.

That process which which translate a file into coded form that occupies less space than the original file.

  • It saves a lot of spaces on dis
  • It save time during sending data from one computer to other computer.

(g) Disk burning.

That process which something's burning in the form of  blank disk or copy  is called disk burning.

Example:

 pictures,videos,music, Any files.

(h) Backup&Restore utility.

(i) Task manager:

The task manager is used to check performance of  widow task manager.

(j) Uninstaller.

Ii is understandable by mean when something's or any data removing from computer  this kind of process  is called uninstalled.

For example:

Removing pictures,music,video,or any Data any form which is to be removing from computer.
