FUSE:

As we know that the Fuse is  consist of a small piece of wire connected in Series In  the circuit, which for melts and breaks the circuit when limit over  current flows through it, thus it help to protect  protects the Circuit.Simplest and cheapest form of protection and is used for protecting low Voltage equipment's against overloads and

ADVANTAGES:

  • It is automatic operation.

  • It is Short-time operation.

DISADVANTAGES:

  • They  Revising and Replacing.
  • poor discrimination on Relay.
  • It is heavy short circuits.
  • Current-time characteristics may fail

Low Voltage Fuses:

 Those fuses with a voltage rating less than or equal to 1,500V is called Low voltage.

High Voltage fuses:

The High Voltage Fuses used-up in High Voltage Line connect  a transformer. For using the  protect the transformer and other linked  equipment if the  faults happen in HV line. And There are three parts in this part  such as cutout body,  sucs is fuse holder and fuse element.

Semi-enclosed Rewirable:

This kind of fuses be made up of a ceramic or plastic carrier that aperture into the fuse board or consumer part and suspends a shore of fuse wire between two  fasten terminals.

High Rupturing Capacity Cartoic:

The High Rupturing Capacity Cartoic  i mean A high breaking capacity or interrupting classification  is one of the defining quality of an HRC fuse. The breaking capacity of the fuse is the highest fault current that a fuse can safely interrupt in a circuit, expressed in amperes.

Cartridge Fuse:

Liquid Types Fuse:
