What is inductor: types of inductor:









 Introduction of Inductor:

 An inductor which is also called coil.reactor, and choke and define like that it store electrical energy in the form of magnetic field is called inductor.

Unit:

Inductor has two parts:

(A)Fix inductor:

(B)Variable inductor:

(A.)Fix inductor: that inductor which dose not change their value is called fix inductor.

Example of fix inductor:

ferrite-core. iron-core, ,and air-core.

(B)Variable inductor:

that inductor which has change their value is called variable  inductor.






Example: 

❤(1)IFT Inductor>( Which are used in printed circuit board(PCB).)

❤ (2)>Which are used for electronics devices.

How:

inductor store electrical energy.When electric flow throw coil it then induced voltage created in the coil this process is called induction. As we inductor typically consist of an insulated wire wound into a coil 

Construction of inductor:

Here we are discussion about construction of Inductors include of a magnetic iron or  core on the inside an insulated copper coil. For top  frequency applications, ferrite or powdered (distributed gap) cores are used. By faisal force thus  high permeability of the ferromagnetic core creates a large magnetic field and, therefore, a greater level of inductance.

Different Types of Inductors:
  • Air Core Inductor(Fix inductor type.).
  • Iron Core Inductor(Fix inductor type.).
  • Ferrite Core Inductor (Fix inductor type.).
  • Bobbin base inductor.(Fix inductor type.).








(a) Air Core Inductor:
This type of inductor which dose not have any core and low inductor needed and uses for high frequency applications.










(b) Iron Core Inductor:
This type of inductor which place iron rod  inside in the core for
in the result of this the magnetization is best or trong. It used for circuit breaker and relay circuit the big disadvantages is that the user iron rod by the eddy current losses and 

hysteresis losses become very hot for removing this losses the laminated iron core type inductors are used and which are understand by the shape of transformer or
Filter and this type of transformer core is used (soft iron core and silicon steel core).









(c)Ferrite Core Inductor:
The ferrite is a ferromagnetic material mean that it very easy to magnetize or easy to flow 
current inside and it uses for high frequency for example  mobile , VGA cable,or data cable
these are Ferrite Core Inductor to remove oscillation or extra noise.Another type Ferrite inductor which is called toroidal ferrite inductor.

The best advantages is that give to very low  leakage to magnetic flux. and it uses in low frequency circuit.The best example 
which are uses for ( switching circuit, refrigerator circuit and SMPS switch mode power  supply, telecommunication devices circuit etc.








(d)Bobbin base inductor:

That inductor which are wound by bobbin base or designed by robbin around coil is called Bobbin base inductor. The Bobbin wound is to be designed to operate 60HZ,or line frequency.this type of inductor uses in PCB circuits etc.













Some other type of fixed inductor which are VCS inductor.
  •  Axial inductor( Color Ring Inductor).
  •  SMD( surface mount device).
  •  WCS (wireless charging coil).
Types of Variable inductor:
(a) (PCB)>printed circuit board.
